The Uruguayan Radio and Television Station (SODRE) is a state-run broadcasting and television institution in Uruguay. Handling one radio station and one television station.

Uruguay's state-run television station, which opened in 1963, broadcasts on Channel 5 in Montevideo, the capital, eight hours a day and 12 hours and 30 minutes a weekend. Color TV adopts Parr system.
