Videoland Max-TV
Videoland Western Movie Channel was launched on January 1st, 2004. The channel was officially renamed to Videoland Max-TV Channel on June 10th, 2005, and was transformed into a multi-genre channel with additions of sports and recreational programs, including "Wold Wrestling Entertainment" and other programs with rich content. The channel also includes excellent mainland Chinese dramas as well as informative programs that are both educational and entertaining. The channel is currently known for having the most leading malnlanc Chinese programs among cable TV channels In Taiwan.
Videoland Max-TV Channel maintains the largest, latest and best quality collection of mainland Chinese programs. Ever since its launch, the "Night Time Highlights" has been praised by the audience. In 2011, the channel was the first among cable channels to air the classic main TV series, "Empresses in the Palace" and "All Men Are Brothers", which set the rating recorc and received praises from viewers. In 2012,. the quality drama of the year, 'Three Kingdoms" became an instant sensation.
Othe^ shows that followed, including the re-filmed "Journey to the West', and the epic "Legerd of Chu and Han" in 2013, The Orphan of Zhao'-' in 201^-, "Legend of Zhen lluan", "Red borghun" in 2015, "Nirvana in Hire" in 2016, and "Yu Chenglong" in 2017, all ga ned popularity among Taiwanese viewers and high ratings. With the continuous successes, Videoland Max-TV Channel holds the dominance of prime-time mainland Chinese dramas.
In addition to sports programs and dramas, Videoland Max-TV launched entertaining informative programs in 2008.. and the market instantly responded with approval. These programs included "RMB Mind", an in-depth narrative of the ncredible success stories of mainland Chinese corporations with regards to their rise to fame and glory, "Ancient China Towns" series, which explored the uniqueness of 101 ancient towns in mainland China, "Countryside Exploration", which explored the remote regions for peculiar cultures, "Mega Tastes", which showcased numerous recipes and their tastes, and other programs with rich content. Furthermore, in 2012 Videoland Max-TV exclusively broadcast the high-quality mainland documentary called "A Bite of China". In 2018, 'Taste of Cantonese" was highly praised by the viewers, and also made Videoland Max-TV a dominant platform for Taiwanese viewers to receive information from mainland China.
In the future, the channel plans to expand the viewership to the younger generation. The channel intends to broadcast the fines: selections of main and Chinese dramas, critically acclaimed documentaries, informative programs with rich content, AND to expand the purchases of sports events and recreational programs, that are both educational and ertertaining.
