Videoland HD
Videoland HD was launched in June 2009 and being the first HD cable channel in Taiwan. The channel was renamed officially to Videoland Roar Channel in 2014 and also launched at the same time on MOD platform of Chunghwa Telecom in 2015. Having Videoland's programs available on MOD platform was the first step of Videoland to stride outside of cable TV platform.
Videoland Roar Channel is a variety channel. The featured programs are sports broadcasts produced by Videoland Television Network, including Universiade Taipei 2017, 2017 WBSC U12, CPBL, SBL, William Jones' Cup International Tournament, domestic and international School Leagues, Amway eSpring Women's World 9-Ball Championship, and other high-profile sportsgames. In addition, Videoland Roar Channel also offers high-qualityjapanese dramas, NHK Taiga dramas, Korean idol dramas, even the most popular Chinese dramas and in-house productions that provide the audiences diverse programs and whole new viewing experiences.
Videoland Roar Channel also offers various programs in HD quality such as "Things Which Start with the Star", "All About Feng Shui",Japanese hits "Far Away Neighbors" and "Hoko X Tate", and more. Additionally, TV programs for kids and teenagers, including "Unnatural Nature" and "Exploring", have been commended by the Ministry of Culture and awarded the WorldFest-Houston International Film & Video Festival Award. Videoland Roar Channel aims to bring the viewers HD entertainment media through its diverse and rich content in order to carry out the promise of providing spectacular contents.
