The weather forecast program after CCTV1 "News Co-broadcast" has become the world's most watched weather forecast program, with a daily audience of 800 million people.
Launched on May 18, 2006, the channel aims to "prevent and reduce disasters and serve the public." After five years of development, China's meteorological channel has realized full-day rolling broadcast and developed into an important means of public meteorological services and disaster prevention and mitigation.
