LIB, Lebanese National Television, was established in 1978. It is owned by Lebanese Television Corporation, with half the capital of the government. The chairman and members of the board of directors of the company are appointed by the government.

Every day there are two sets of programs, each of which broadcasts for 10 hours, news programs are broadcast in Arabic, French and English, and programs such as education, health, culture and entertainment are mainly in Arabic.
