NTA2 Lagos
NTA-2 Channel 5, “Your Reach Out Station” was established in April 1980 for the purpose of producing and transmission of TV programs designed to meet the emerging sophisticated needs of viewers in the cosmopolitan areas of Lagos State.
Initially, it was incorporated into the National Television Production Centre (NTPC) transmitting 60 hours per week. In 1981, the station became the only commercialized NTA station and was given autonomy with its own Management and separate broadcasting outfit. The station started with a staff strength of thirty which now stands at one hundred and twenty because of twenty-four hours transmission that effectively took off in December 1999.
